Let-me-ups

See the below link for a photo of me performing a Let-me-up using a table. I frequently use the chairs and small desks found in hotel rooms.

oooo ok i've been wondering how to do this, since the table i have was too high to reach from the ground. the chair makes a lot of sense. PS. you should put that photo in the book

This is the one exercise I will have to leave out for a while. My table is very rickety, it is a wobbly pedestal table that won't hold up. There isn't anything else in my studio apartment to use, not even chairs that would work for this-- they too are rickety- old wooden folding chairs... so I am waiting to order a dip bar that is currently out of stock. Is there something else I can do to work the same muscles to replace this exercise in the basic workout for a while? At least until I can get a hold of one of those dip bars!

Try one or two arm let me ins with your elbows up.

I need an idea what to do to get up to par on let me ups.

I am currently on the first class program weeks 5&6 power block. I am seeing awesome results and this stuff is amazing. However, I cannot do let me ups for anything. On Day 3/pull I was only able to fully do 3 let me ups with legs straight. I think this is a result of me not being able to effectively find a way to do the let me ups in the past. I did them but was not an effective way.

So what should I do? Take a week or two off and practice let me ups and jump back into the program where I left off? I obviously cannot continue the program because let me ups is vital in this program and I think effective. However, I can do EVERYTHING else! It just these let me ups that's got me.

You could do that. Or you could forge ahead doing an easier variant of the let me ups. Your post reminds me of the exchange between Bo.S.S. and MLauren when Bo.S.S. was lamenting his poor let me up strength: http://www.marklauren.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=209&p=889#p888. hello folks.

I would like to know if there is suitable ways to perform let-me-ups and let-me-ins in a suspension trainer?

Hey Bark50,

thanks a lot for your response and that link. I'll definitely not get to caught up with the program. I really appreciate it.
