Week 1 (14) - Day 5 : Complete

Remark: Did about 5 sets.

Difficulty Rating: 999 / 10 , beyond any scale...

Comment: Well, I did about 5 or 6 reps, more like 5. This should be about 7-8 minutes. I'm still aiming for the 10 minute mark. These stappers are enormously difficult. :( The 20 minute mark is too far for now. I don't think the 20 minute stappers should have been included in the beginner block. Take your average overweight man/woman, at about 40-45 years of age. Think they can do more than 30 seconds of stappers? You've got to be joking.

Week 2 (15) - Day 1 : Complete

Remark: Did the reps.

Difficulty Rating: 8/10

Comment: This is the workout done yesterday. I was so wasted after it, I forgot to put the journal entry. Well, it was a tabata day, not extremely difficulty, but not easy either. :)

New here, and I love hearing how your workouts are going. How's your physique coming along? How do you feel? Do you look forward to your workouts?

Week 2 (15) - Day 2 : Complete

Remark: Did all the reps. RDLs still suck.

Difficulty Rating : 7/10

Comment: Medium difficulty day. Those RDL's are frustrating, I just can't keep my balance well.

Answer to above posts: @dkm1977 Welcome to the club. :) Physique is ok, arms, chest, legs a tiny bit bigger, nothing really noticeable yet. You have to keep in mind, I'm at it for about 5 months. I didn't expect to undo 20 years of neglect in 5 months. It'll probably take 2-3 years to look the way I want to. As for the way I feel, there is an ENORMOUS difference: less stress (I had severe depression problems for some time...it's been diminished a lot), after I go up 5-6 floors on the stairs (always take the stairs) my heart barely goes above 100 (before starting the workout, I couldn't even breathe, by the time I reached the 2nd floor), and a tremendous personality boost, you gain confidence by following the program, the satisfaction that you work on something just because you can, and you want to. All in all, the results are astonishing, even though I didn't get the looks I want, yet. But the looks will come, they have to! :) Thanks for your support! :)

@ChrisS and nomoreworkouts Thanks for the support, I am going, did I ever stop? Hell no!

Hi,
New here, and just read through your log... enjoying it... only have one question though - you mentioned a coupl eof times that let me ins were working your legs... that seems a little odd... surely you just "sit in" position and pull yourself up and down, with all the weight in your arms... I would suggest, if you're working the legs, then you're taking weight of the pull section... which is why they seem a bit easy...

cheers,
ginster

Week 2 (15) - Day 3 : Complete

Remark : Did all the reps, tried to maintain good form.

Difficulty Rating: 7/10

Comment: Well, nothing special about this day. The usual crap load of Let me Ins, with hands in all positions, and all that jazz ...

@ginster : Hy, first of all, thank you for reading my log ! :) Regarding what I've said about Let me Ins, I just meant that you have to maintain that right angle position which is sometimes felt by the legs, you don't really "work" the legs like in squats, for example. Think of an isometric exercise where, just by trying to fight against your body's weight in an awkward position gives you a "workout". ;)

Week 2 (15) - Day 4 : Complete

Remark: Did all the reps. Only took 1 minute of rest, instead of about 2. So it was 1 minute intervals, because the exercises were too simple.

Difficulty Rating: 6/10

Comment: Lots of studying to do, shitty exam season, and I kinda missed yesterday's workout, so I did it now. The exercises seem a lot easier (except stappers) ,I wonder if I can finish the next program without repeating the undulating block.

Week 2 (15) - Day 5 : Complete

Remark: Geez....

Difficulty Rating : Godlike

Comment : Well, managed to last for the full 20 minutes, with breaks... doing it without breaks is still pretty damn far. Had lots of exams lately, not enough sleep, that's why I'm a little behind on my workouts, but I'll catch up soon. :D
