Hi Everyone,
I just did the seated dips in Week 4 Day 1 (Basic plan, iPhone App) and my right wrist hurt a bit. I work at the computer all day, but I don't have carpal tunnel or something like that.
In any case, can you recommend an alternative exercise that works similar muscles but is not as straining on my risk?
Thanks for any advice!
alternative exercise for seated dips?

Re: alternative exercise for seated dips?
Well, eleysanne, your post is almost a week old, and no one has chimed in, so I'll give it a try. Those seated dips are primarily for the triceps. One exercise I'd recommend as a substitute would be either close-grip push ups or diamond push ups. With diamond push ups, you have your left and right thumbs and index fingers touching. Keeping your arms tucked in close to your body when doing the movement will accentuate the triceps. Do the movement against a wall or on an elevated surface or from your knees to find the difficulty that challenges you.
You could also try surface triceps extensions from your knees, but even with that modification, it might be a bit too much for someone just starting out.
